Got a pretty good oil leak on the top of my motor some were. Its enough that I had to add oil as it was below the line, and I just changed the oil a month ago, and its running down both sides of the back of the motor and dripping off the oil filter and other side as well, and blowing back onto everything. I saw lots of oil in the valley under the fuel filter and the piece the turbo splits into the heads. Two puddles there, and if I park on a hill, it runs off pretty good. So its a bad leak. I cleaned it all off with engine cleaner, so I could possibly see were its leaking, but its already puddled up, and I cant see were its from. I thought maybe the turbo pedestal as others mention is common, but its hard to see back that far, without taking it all apart. I rather find the leak before I tare it down. From what I can see of the turbo, it is clean, and doesn't appear to have as much oil around it as under the fuel filter. I'm leaking oil not diesel, so its not the fuel filter. I pray its not the heads. The motor runs great, and I don't notice any difference from before, except the oil loss. Any suggestions what could be leaking up there?
