drove the truck for two days, let it sit for a day, then drove it again. Drove it to work, around town and then home (30 minute drive home). It had been starting fine all day, and ran like a top. I drove home with headlights on, parked it and shut everything off for about an hour. Went to go restart it, it turned over a few times really slow, now its just clicking. My first thought was the alternator died, and the headlights on the way home killed the battery. Got the battery bench tested tonight and it passed fine. I know it doesn't mean anything other than showing that I don't have a dead cell, but both batteries read about 13 volts. Anybody have any ideas what to check next? My thought was that if the batteries died it would have been starting slower all day or for the last few weeks until it died Saturday night, but it was fine and all of a sudden I have nothing. Haven't checked for a short yet, but in my inspection of the grounds (it was getting dark so ill have to check again) everything seemed clean. Sorry for the long post, just want to answer any questions that may pop up, and see where you guys would start looking... Thanks in advance!
