New to TDS

I have read threads from this site in the past and found them helpful for problems with my F250. Not so much the case today. I am sitting in Great Basin National Park, Baker NV with a dead F250. I have 12 Boy Scouts with me and I would like to post what happened with my truck today so I can start working towards getting it fixed. I have historically not been satisfied with dealership work as they usually just throw parts at it. Luckily I have a great friend driving out from NorCal to help me grab the truck and get the scouts that were ridding with me, as well as the rest of the gear back home to NorCal.
