Hey everyone......new to the forums and just bought my 4th diesel P/U.
Previous rigs;
86 F350 XLT dually 6.9-C6/blueprinted and tuned injector pump
95 F350 XLT 4X4 CC Powerstroke, Auto, dead stock
97 Dodge 3500 SLE dually CTD, NV4500 conversion, X-Cab, 375hp
And my new to me, got it for a price that I couldn't pass on.
88 F250 XLT Lariat SC, 7.3 IDI, C6
The good
No oil leaks
New tires
Body is in awesome condition with good paint
Brand new injector pump
Drives nice
The bad
7.3 has 1 bad injector (misses)
Vacuum leaks (trans doesn't shift properly, HVAC system is floor only)
Interior is a little rough bud workable
Some electrical problems (fuel gauge, tach, AC)
So to say the least.....I will be needing advice and help bringing it back to life and getting everything working. Will be picking it up Tuesday. :yesnod:
