Replacing front-outer U-joints

Hey everyone, I did some searching, but the search function only gives me results for ball joints.

Is there a write up anywhere on this? Front outer U-joints on a 1996 4X4.

I am slightly mechanically inclined. I replaced ball joints years ago. I remember the driver side axle sliding right out. Passenger side should be same? Anything special I should take in to consideration or prepare for?
