Has anybody installed one of these?:
Pop & Lock PL8250 Power Tailgate Lock for Ford.
It apparently ties into the door lock circuit so it would be just another door. It's highly rated on the Amazon website and looks like it's reasonably well made and complete. I have already install the McGard lock and the tailgate assist (easy down). I like the idea of an electric lock on the tailgate to go along with the McGard. That way the gate is always locked and I won't have to worry that I forgot. Anybody have other ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance. I'll try searching this site to see if there are any similar threads next. Sorry if this thread turns out to be redundant.
