Turbo Leak Test/ Air Leak at Oil Rail??? Help me smart ones!!

Morning diesel folks. The internet is not long enough to post all the problems Ive had w this truck over time...so I'll start with this one today. Hang in there w me, there's a point to the following long winded story:icon_wink:

Have 01 F350 4X4 and put Reman Stage one injectors in recently from DP Tuner. DP reprogrammed tuner for new stage 1's. Took a trip (about 700 miles) and fuel mileage tanked! First half of trip w trailer unloaded noticed decrease of about 2 mpg. 2nd half of trip loaded (about 10000lb) went from usual 12-13 mpg pulling load to 7-8 mpg. OUCH!!!!

After injectors, saw more black smoke than w stock injectors. Noticed it when really got on the throttle but cleared after turbo spooled up.

Called DP and customer service and expressed concern. Young man suggested might have fuel leak somewhere. I checked, double checked and checked again. No fuel leaks. Young man at DP said could possibly be issue w Reman injectors but I should trouble shoot other possibilities first. Too, I called Full Force Diesel (where DP gets injectors) and expressed MPG issue nd black smoke. They suggested its a tune problem...

Soooooo, now I'm pressure testing turbo for boost leaks as process of elimination and discovered an air leak in an unexpected place.

Is this the oil rail? Its located on passenger side, below valve cover towards fuel filter. When I first discovered leak, I noticed a bolt was missing and appeared like gasket goop had blown out around missing bolt.
Can a leak here affect Boost?

Im only able to pressure system up to about 10 psi and it drops immediately because so much air escapes from this point.

Ultimate question... If anyone can tell what this area is and how much PITA it might be to remove and regasket/seal to stop leak???

Just for giggles... another leak discovered on front of spider at temp sensor and MAP line. Didn't know if this one would affect boost terribly bad though??

All in all Im just trying to eliminate all I can before I call DP Tuner or Full Force Back in an effort to find my missing MPG's.:brickwall:
