Wow! that last bolt on the passenger side is a...well there are no nice words that can be said. Seriously a pain in the a$$.
Been at it for hours and just about gave up. on my last try i got the socket on it and a good enough bite to break it loose and spin it up a bit. once it comes up, the socket is able to fall onto the bolt better and the bolt rests deeper in the socket. But oh man, it's not often that I have to "pray on it" when working on a car.
So now, I'm at the point where I have to remove the oil dipstick to get to the rest of the bolts that secure the valve cover gasket. I don't understand how this comes apart and I vaguely recall some pretty important warnings about the dipstick coming out. Can someone explain this part to me?
Need to get this done today because i need the truck tomorrow.
