Ok, so I have a 2000 f350 4x4 AT with 135k miles on it. I have a 4 inch exhaust, air intake, wicked wheel, BTS changeable on the fly chip and aftermarket valve body. I also have all the gauges. I am have a delay sometime between what feels like 2 and 3 shift. I have been running this setup for a long time now with no problems. If I turn the chip off it seems to not do it. I have it at the shop now being test and they said line pressures look good and they thinks it could be a communication problem but are still checking things.
My question is after a long period of time switching the chip to different setting could this cause a problem with the shifting pattern being sent from the computer? Like a computer does it need a reboot?
