Hey fellas I need some opinions. I have an 08 6.4. I just had a new engine put in last July at 81,716 miles. Ford told me I had a 3 year unlimited mile warranty on it. Well last week I had my 5th wheel camper hooked up and wad getting ready to go to work in West Virginia an a reduced power code came up. So I unhooked my camper and took it to the Ford house. They came back and said there was 3 gallons of fuel in my crank shaft due to a leak in the fuel line. Come to find out the engine only had a warranty until the factory warrant was up. Which ended up being November of the same year. So it isn't under warranty. I only have 95,130 on it now. It only had 13,414 miles on this engine. I still owe $21,000 on it. A new motor costs $18,000 on it. What would you do? O and the found metal shavings in the oil pan.
