Rev up option for pto driven accessory Help!

Hello All, first time posting here.

I have a 2001 4700 international with a T444E 7.3L.

The truck is equipped with a hydraulic crane that is operated by a pto driven pump. A control panel mounted at the rear of the truck has a toggle switch that allows momentary or constant increased idle (a set increased idle). The switch has voltage and I can feel 2 relays click when activated but the engine does not rev up. The rev up switch operated correctly the day I brought the truck home but did not work the next day nor has it worked since.

With the truck running, if I hit the cruise it automatically increases the idle to the correct speed (around 1100 rpm), instantly. What I mean is that when you push the button for the cruise "Set" one time, the rpm instantly increases to a preset rpm.

I think the ecm is programmed to rev to the correct rpm when the cruise in activated.

Can someone explain to me how the cruise is activated with the dash switch and or how I can trouble shoot my problem.

Does the dash switch supply voltage to set the cruise or is it a signal?

I have not checked the voltage coming out of my relays when the rev up switch is activated or traced the wire from the relay to see where it is going.

There are 2 relays that click when the rev switch is toggled. One to send power to the "on" and the other to energize the "Set" I would guess.

Going to be a chore to trace out the wires in the harness to see where the wires connect in the dash.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
