Finally gonna do the rsk, have a few questions.

Hey guys i recently replaced all my front suspension parts, 1997 f350 crew cab longbed,7.3 diesel, trucks drives great now, on a flat nice freeway, its back to riding like a solid brick in town, was nice 15 years ago, but now i want to keep the lift but try the rsk. Ive searched old threads for days now, but therye all pretty old, i just wanted to post a new thread to see the latest on what everybodys doing now.

Right now i have a 6 inch skyjacker on it with what i think is a 3/4" shim above the drive line, idk if thats stock or not, and stacked blocks in the rear, the stock 4" and the skyjacker 3 1/4" block, under stock leaf springs. I also have the drop pittman arm and the drop plate for the trac bar.

I had a quick convo with trevor, it was late so i cut it short, he says it doesnt matter what size rsk kit i go with they all ride the same, id like to keep some lift so im going with the 4.5, i called the dealer for 2004 f350 code v springs for $170 a peice.

My questions are, are those gonna be the best springs? Do i keep that driveline shim? And what am i going to have to do to the rear to keep it level? Ditch just the skyjacker block? Add a leaf, i actually dont know what that means. I just put all new skyjacker shocks on the truck too, if i went with bilsteins, would it be a drastic difference?
