Need some help from the Ford pros. I have a 2004 F250 6.0 powerstroke. the issue just started all of sudden. Drove about 60 miles one day, fueled up, and parked. Crank the the truck next day, idled fine. attempt to drive the truck, spit and sputtered and had black smoke coming from the exhaust. Let it set and warm up for awhile and seems to run better. still has a noticeable miss around 1500-2000 rpms and small amount of white smoke if you hard press the accelarator. Thought maybe I had bought comtaminated fuel. Drained fuel at seperator, no water present. Installed new fuel filters, have pulled and clean EGR valve replaced with new o-rings and gasket. Changed oil and filter. Guessing injectors, have not had any issues till now, not missing at any range or anything. Have not put it on a scanner yet. Seems to be worse after first starting the engine, gets better after it warms up. Any ideals?
