03 Ex, Build date Feb 03. Began hard starting about 6 months ago. About 2 months ago it lost power and stalled on the way home from work. Has not run since. AE showed that the IPR was maxing at 84% and if it cranked, would not build pressure past about 550 PSI. So I assumed either a High Pressure leak and/or bad pump. That said, I have replaced the pump and the o-rings at the pump. New ICP sensor and IPR valve. I also replaced the O-rings under the Oil rail nipples and replaced all the o-rings on the injectors, to include the top o-ring that seals on the oil rail nipples. I figured that with this, it is sure to fix the problem as everything in the high pressure system has been replaced with the exception of the o-ring at the branch pipe block in the HPOP cavity.
I tried to crank it up and no start ---- still. AE shows the IPR maxed again and only building about 200 PSI pressure, worse than before.
I was very careful to do everything exactly right, all o-rings lubed up during assembly. I even re-filled the oil rails prior to re-connecting the feed lines in an attempt to help the priming process. I am not sure what has gone wrong or what has been missed.
Any other ideas or suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.
