I was trying to flush my Power Steering system (2000 F350 7.3 PSD) but it doesn't seem to be working.
What's happening is that I get some old fluid coming out into a container, but when I added new fluid, it is not being sucked/circulated into the system so the level in the reservoir is changing very very little.
Does this mean the Power Steering pump is bad? Or this there a block somewhere?
To flush the system, I was following info found online and thought the flush was a no-brainer :jester:but it's not turning out that way.
I do not have the car jacked so couldn't move the steering wheel as much as I wanted to. I was pumping the brake though, so thought more should have been circulating through the system.
What ever I do the level of fluid in the reservoir has barely changed.
Any ideas?
