2001 F250 downsizing lift kit

Hello, I bought my 01 F250 sometime back in 2009 and it came with an 8 inch lift and some 38" tires. Well, fast forward a couple years and I am just sick and tired of climbing up and down the truck everyday. So I was thinking about buying a 2" lift kit (leaf springs front and rear, and new shocks) and lowering my truck and dropping some 33's on it. Will it be that simple or am I missing something?


Basically I want the truck back to stock height, maybe just an inch or taller.

I have done a lift kit before, just not on a superduty. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

PS If anyone in the Tucson area wants to swap out suspension components or possibly purchase this 8" Procomp lift I am very willing to part with for an extremely low price
