I put a LUK smfw in my truck probably about 4 or 5 years ago. Today it started making a bad squealing noise when I push the clutch pedal in. I dropped the inspection cover and found a pile of ball bearings, probably from my throw-out bearing. I'm guessing there is a good chance I'll have to replace the clutch as well as the fingers probably got worn into. Besides the mods I already have, I'm also thinking pretty heavily of upgrading to stage 1 injectors within a year. Should I upgrade to the South Bend 1944-50K that's supposed to be able to support 350 horse. Clutch alone it would be only a difference of $100 between stock and the upgrade.
