I have a little interesting story.. Ordered my truck, it rolled into town Friday on the train, and probably will be at the dealership midweek. Anyways, this is my first deal with this dealer, all has gone well, and my truck even seemed to get built over others who ordered earlier.. I wanted to make things simple so last week I went to my credit union to get pre approved so I was ready to go. When I was talking with the dealer Friday he said if I was getting a loan, that their policy was that they had to write the loan papers for my CU.. Hello Mr obvious,.....they must be hard up for the loan commision. Had I known this I would have just done it through them, but now having them do it means they run my credit again, and I don't want that hit. I didn't think a Ford dealer was now the bank... Has anyone else had this kind of problem...? I'm kind of stuck and not sure what to do? Any thoughts?
