Turn my 08 F250 into a 350?

Is the only difference between the two the rear spring pack? I have the v10 with 4.10 axle.

If its just the rear springs, should I go with finding a used F 350 set, or should I go with something after market? Also, what would be my main benefit outcome? More payload? Would there be any other simple modifications that would help?

Reason I ask: I may look into adding a dump cylinder to my bed. It's a short bed, and SRW, so in reality I'm limited to about 2 yards of volume back there anyhow.
