Hey Guys....
I have recently been experiencing a shuddering problem with my "87" F250 6.9L 2wd. When she shifts between 1st and 2nd gear it seems as though the under carriage rattles and that I have to back off the accelerator or the shuttering will get excessive.
Recently I removed the driveshaft. The U-joints are tight at both ends so I re-greased these as well as the bearing carriage thinking this was the cause of the problem. Then I dropped the transmission pan and replaced the gaskets and added new fluid. Added an additive that Ford has available known as "Shudder Fix Additive". :thdown: My problem still exists....not to sure where to go from here. Any other ideas as to my problem?
