I still have the stock downpipe on my truck, the flange where it connects to the cat is rotted away pretty bad, so I was looking at split flanges as a cob job solution (anyone ever have luck with this?). I guess the right way to fix it would be to put in a new downpipe, the 2 piece diamond eye 3 inch was about a hundred bucks and the bully dog was about $150, any suggestions on which one to buy? from what I've read, you can install these without pulling the tranny right? just beat up the seam on the firewall and some issue with the dipstick also remove map sensor.
