I've got an early build '03 with 149,000 miles. The truck starts great and idles normally, everything sounds normal. I can rev the engine while in park or neutral, but when I put it in gear, the engine can get over about 1,000 RPM. Using my ScanGuage2, I notice that my ICP sensor readings are about 600+/- at idle, but drop to around 465+/- when I start to accelerate. I've tested the FICM voltage and it never seems to drop below 48v. Replaced the batteries yesterday, new fuel filters, clean oil (Rotella Synthetic), just cleaned the EGR and reinstalled. I also took off the inter-cooler tubes and boots, all looked good and reinstalled. VGT seems to cycle properly according to ScanGauge and audible sounds. About the only thing I haven't checked is fuel pressure, panning on checking that tomorrow. What's puzzling is that the engine will rev up great while in neutral or park, but once it's in gear I've got no power (and apparently no pressure based on the ICP sensor reading). Any thoughts? Could it be HPOP related, bad ICP sensor or IPR? At this point I'm at a loss. All I know is that cruising around at a top speed of 20mph is not cool.
