Cracked heads and magnafluxing

This is kind of a general questions that is really too difficult and complicated to explain why I need this information.

It is my understanding that all heads on a 6.0 will crack after so many miles but Ford says don't worry about them if they are just surface cracks. I also understand that magnafluxing, if done properly, will detect most cracks.

That being said, and assuming the above is true, how can a set of heads with over 160,000 miles not have any cracks when magnafluxed?

Again, assuming what I said is true, then the answer to my questions is that the heads were not properly magnafluxed. If so, how do I prove that?

Is there any OFFICIAL documents (like a TBS) that clearly state that heads commonly have surface cracks?

Is there any OFFICIAL documents out there on the proper way to magnaflux and examine heads for cracks?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
