Hey y'all I've been reading all the threads I could find related to this but none answered my question. I have a 2010 6.4 with 53k
I filled up at my usual spot but got the WIF light after ten miles. I immediately pulled over and did a 30 second drain. This continued every ten miles or so the rest of my drive last night and I did it a total of 8 times, added in extra additive after about the fifth. The fuel coming out looked perfectly fine the last time I did it (and the only time I had a water bottle to put it in)
I drain the valve monthly, I did it last week.
I switched the fuel filters about 4k ago.
Would just switching the filters solve the problem or do I probably need to totally clean out the separator? It seems fairly clean as it has always flowed freely.
Thanks, I'm just trying to find the way to waste the least money
Joe
