Hello Everybody,
I am new to the forum and like many members have questions about my Truck.The vehicle is a 1986 F250 4x4 XLT Lariat extended cab which we are bringing back to dependable status.So far exhaust system,shock absorbers and brakes have all been replaced.Recent service with fuel filter replacement have been performed as well.
The truck runs well and starts easily, has pleanty of power, however after a drive and shut off we have no electrical power period.Accessory lights,headlights and of course no starter.Then after some time electrical power is back on.
We have removed all battery cables at the battery terminals,cleaned and wire brushed positive & negative clamps and terminal posts.I suspect the red wire coming from the battery clamp on the right battery which connects to a junction or relay at the inner fender near the battery.
Any suggestions or diagnostic trick here???
