A little background. I replaced my EGR valve on Thursday of last week and ran 300 trouble free miles on Friday. On Saturday, I broke down again. Black smoke, no power, EGR codes. Turns out that it's dumb to put a shiny new EGR valve into a dirty nasty coked up EGR bore and intake manifold (I think).
Anyway, dealer wants to replace oil cooler and EGR cooler for $3k. The truck has 103,xxx miles on it. Should I replace them or delete that idea and go another route. :lol:
