OK,
i have a e99 with 251,000 miles on it. just recently my truck has died on me while driving down the road. it spits and sputters before it dies like its losing fuel pressure. Come to find out i am about 6 quarts low on motor oil. so i add oil and not more than 100 miles later its 6 qaurts low again. I find out that ive got oil in my fuel tank (i can see it through my dieselsite fuel filter). after some research on this forum it seems its highpressure oil by-passing my injectors?
the injectors are original and id like to replace the injectors even if its just an o-ring issue. Any thoughts or anyone want to confirm my theory? i will say that before it dies the truck runs very well. I have a DP tuner and it runs strong.
