I'm new to diesels. Purchased a 99 F 250 7.3l last year with a bully dog gauge tuner installed. About a month ago I noticed the truck running rough while in OD at 40 mph with no gas pedal input. I also noticed that if OD was turned off at that point, transmission would downshift, RPM's would increase with no rough idle. A couple diesel buddies said it sounded like it was time to replace fuel injectors. The truck has 175,000 miles on it and I'm trying to milk it for a few more before dumping a wad of cash in it. Now I notice its starting idle rough while sitting at stop lights. I downloaded 2 codes 1211 and 1243. 1211 refers to Injector Pressure regulator valve, could that be problem all along or an additional problem to needing new injectors? Any help would be greatly appreciated
