About a week ago I was pulling a small trailer down the interstate going about 65-70mph.
Not positive if the truck shifted to 3rd and the converter unlocked or if it stayed in OD and the the converter unlocked, either way drove about 20 miles to my exit at 55-60 mph and could not get the converter to lock back up even when completely letting off the throttle.
I did not mess with the OD switch and the light was not blinking.
I stopped at the gas station checked the fluid it was full although a lil dirty.
Truck has never unlocked the converter like that at a stedy pace on a flat road with very light throttle input.
Parked the truck for about 5 hours, then babied it 45 miles home trans worked normal all the way back.
I drove it around a few times since although not as far and it seemed normal.
What would cause this to happen, almost seemed like an electrical problem?
