I need to replace the shocks on my truck. I am currently using Bilstein's. My question is which Bilstein's to replace them with? Am I correct in that the 5100 are for lifted vehicles and the HD's are for non lifted trucks? My truck is stock. I want to stay with the Bilstein's as I am very happy with the ride. I tow a 10,000 lb fifth wheel so i need the appropriate shock. I don't remember which shock model i am running, as time and grit have eliminated any markings on the shocks so that is why i was asking about the difference between the two models.
