P1316 error

Howdy, folks! Second thread for a second problem. I have a 1999 f250 7.3 powerstroke diesel with auto transmission and 4 wheel drive, 320K miles. It all started with going through a water puddle displacing a large amount of water. SES light came on, lost power, limped home. Checked it the next day and received a P0470 error. Ultimately replaced the EBP sensor and tube. (End of first problem.) Next problem...Truck fired up, idle was smooth. Ran the truck up, was doing fine, sped up to about 60 mph on a clear day and lost power again; SES indicator returned. Checked it with superchips, P1316 error code. Started the truck up again, idled fine, drove about a mile (at 30-45 mph) and lost power again. While returning home, the truck started running smooth again, picked up speed but lost power again before I got home. P1316 showed again...tried to clear the codes and it would not clear. Ran the truck again just to see; lost power again. I've been reading about the p1316 and understand that it has to do with electronics associated with fuel injectors. I can still start the truck and the idle is fine...sounds good. I've taken off the driver side valve cover gasket and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary; electrical connectors seem fine. (The fix your p1316 issue with a quarter video on youtube does not apply, the connector's still well connected and held with a zip tie.) There is a little bit of oil on the wires but that seems expected. Actually, I do not know which bank the problem may be occurring; I was hoping for a 25 cent miracle; no luck. As it stands, I don't know for sure what to do next. Also, I don't have the gizmos to do a buzz check on the injectors. I'd appreciate the feedback.

Dan
