Bad Springs???

I have been looking to replace the bushings on my front leaf springs as I can hear some squeaking and popping. I happened to be looking under the truck and the springs are basically flat without any arc to them at all. They might even be bending the other direction.

What should the springs on the front look like?

If I do need to replace what suggestions do you have for replacement/improvements?
