Hello, im getting ready to head down to college for Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics and AG Diesel Technology. Im very interested in buying a diesel truck.. just cant afford any that are in Michigan because they are all like 8-10 grand for somthing with a decent body and 300,000 plus miles.. Im just looking for a good diesel thats gonna be able to be a workhorse when im on the farm, but will still be able to haul me and my buddies down to the river and to college too. Im not brand specific when it comes to diesels (cummins would be nice if i could ever find one) but im just looking for somthing that i can do some upgrades to but im not gonna be breaking the bank every time i want to do some high performance upgrades on. Any suggestions?
