Rebuilding my first 7.3L

Hello Everyone,

I'm picking up a 7.3L Engine tomorrow, for $600.00, for the purpose of a total rebuild. I don't have to get this done immediately as my current engine is doing okay, so I have some time to be picky and accumulate the parts over a period of time.

I'd like some advice on kits to use or specific parts.

I'd like to improve my gas mileage, so if there is any upgrades I can do, while I'm rebuilding, that is going to help me accomplish that please suggest those as well.
