Has or is anyone here done or seen where people have changed their fuel system to get away from the old mechanical pump? I have read a lot about the OEM pump style having issues and I know that it would be a pain to replace. I am just curious if it would be advisable to make this kind of conversion. It seems like a pretty cool that you could just have an electric pump on the frame rail. Are there kits out there to perform this change? I have seen the block off plug for when the old pump is removed Most of the things that I read regarding this they have removed the fuel bowl and added an aftermarket system for filtration etc.
