Since I did the EGR Delete on my '05 F250, I have had no turbo boost.
I jacked up the original clamp for the Y-Pipes when I took it off for the delete (bent the bracket a little), and finally replaced it today with a new one. I've made sure that the Y-Pipes are lined up flush with the Turbo, and made sure everything was hooked back up to the turbo (Wiring, Air, Exhaust, Oil).
Yet the turbo fails to spool at all. It's obvious I have a leak somewhere, as the fumes / smoke fills my engine compartment when I idle and rev it, but I can not figure out where.
I drove it to a shop on base tonight to get some essentials; after I turned a corner at about 25mph, I noticed the truck has a loud roar to it. It sounds pretty damn badass, almost like it was straight piped, but I know it can't be too good for it.
Any help on figuring out where the leak may be, or why my truck sounds like a tank on steroids, is much appreciated.
