Just replaced my ICP sensor with this one: 2003 & 2004 03 04 FORD 6.0 ICP SENSOR INTERNATIONAL NEW 1807329C92 6tz-9f83
I was able to clear my P2285 code and CEL is gone, sensor works great...
Except now I have to wait 10 seconds "key on/engine off" to start the engine. During the 10 second wait my scangauge shows 3475 psi ICP and it absolutely will not start, after the 10 second wait ICP pressure automatically drops to 0 and it starts right up, idles at 875psi and runs great.
It is not a problem for me waiting 10 seconds to start, I am more curious if anybody has ever heard of this and if maybe I screwed something up or missed something during the install?
