the other day i got myself my first diesel all i have owned is ford trucks but never a diesel so i traded a ranger with 250k miles for a 88 f250 7.3 idi with 130k seems to be a good truck i was nervous driving it home not knowing if it was gonna get me there but it did great all 150 miles on the trip since then i have noticed some things this truck is kinda a farm truck but its my dd so i know i need injectors one shows signs of leaking and ive got some light colored smoke that smells like diesel so i figured id just save up and replace them all no sense in just doin the one because they all look very old so i drove it home the "mechanic" that owned it said it needed a brake booster the pedal was rock hard after further inspection the next day in the light guess wat no belt on the vac pump problem solved on to the next today ive been trying to figure out this clutch its a new clutch i know because theres no dust cover new master and slave clutch pedal only comes half way back up so i figured it needs to be bled so i go to do so and the little allan wrench bleeder is stripped no biggie i got new only 30 bucks from adavanced got it on waiting on the wife to come home and push my pedal then we can and she can help me bleed the clutch i hope it fixes the problem the linkage and all seems to be in good shape so none of the gauges really work fuel goes way past full oil pressure jumps with i use turn signals tac jumps around any one know what a cause would be ive checked fuses and traced wires as far as i could nothing looks out of the ordinary so i got my hauling/dd truck just gotta work out some bugs with the help of you fine people
