Hello everyone. Looking for the most updated info on upgrading an E4OD.
We have a 1993 SuperDuty that was customized as a Rescue Unit. It was modified to a 4 door and carries auto extrication and rope rescue equipment. It is at max capacity if not slightly overloaded. Today the tranny gave out for the third time. The unit has only 34,907 miles. It has a banks turbo and the associated Trans Command. The last transmission was rebuilt in 2010 and supposedly had the updated planetary upgrades. The transmission cooler had also been upgraded.
The vehicle is in the shop and the tranny is going to be torn into tomorrow. Any suggestions on the newest/best upgrades?
