Recurring P2290 CEL in E450 6.0L

I run a small ambulance service in northern Vermont. We have been having a host of problems with our 2010 E450 6.0L in the last 6 months.

It all began in March with an oil leak and a P0470 CEL. The engine was removed, head gasket and the EBP tube were replaced. Problem solved.....

A week later the CEL P2290 (low ICP) comes on. No driveability issues. We bring it in to the dealer. They check the ICP sensor and IPR. Nothing found.

A week later the CEL P2290 comes on again. We also notice oil continuing to leak and a funny air whooshing noise on acceleration. Back to the dealer. Head gasket replaced again. They claim they didn't replace the head bolts when they did the last replacement and that is what caused the failure. They assure us that this will fix our CEL.

On the ride home from the dealer the CEL P2290 comes on again. We also notice the air whooshing noise is continuing. Back to the dealer again.

This time they replaced the CAC hotside tube and the IPR. CEL stays off for about a week and the air whooshing noise in gone. At this point we contact Ford and have a regional service rep involved. Back to the dealer again. The ICP sensor and stub harness is replaced.

Once again the CEL stays off for a week and we are now leaking transmission fluid. That was last week.

Has anyone had any similar problems? If we weren't an ambulance I might not be as concerned. If the truck does finally die with a patient on board and a known CEL we would be in trouble.

Thankfully this has all been warranty work. Unfortunately our state's lemon laws do not cover trucks over 8,000 GVW. The truck has been in the shop for 46 days in the last 4 months.

This is attempt number 5 to repair this problem. Is there any recourse that we have with Ford. How long will they throw resources at this problem until they give up and replace the engine? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
