well got some bad news today my 08 6.4 started knocking after i went campinig i took into dealer today and they claim the noise i am hearing is not a rod knock its piston slap bad news for me. The thing i stuggle with is my truck only has 47k miles on it and i have major problems. Ok my question is they are blaming it on the egr delete i put on it. They say the gases are what a egr deletes and mine is gone this is the cause hmmm.. not sure if thats correct but ok i said. Do they have to pull my motor to fix this problem?? They just pulled the motor 2 months ago to fix my bed plate leak. just asking if my motor has to come out for this thanks
