I seem to have to have my fronts re-balanced at least once in between rotations. One or both will get out of balance by an half ounce or so at some point along the way. Does anyone else experience this?
I realize I have aftermarket, lug-centric wheels, but they do balance eventually, they just don't tend to last. And I realize as tires wear that can change things, and maybe it's because the truck is so heavy that this can't be helped. Front what I can tell, there's no evidence of it losing wheel weights along the way.
What do I have?
Ultra Magnum wheels
Michelin 265/75-16 E-rated
Centramatic wheel balancers (which don't seem to do enough)
No cross-rotation
Only static-balancing (dynamic balancing seems to be harder to get right)
Opinions?
