To start this off, I bought an '87 F250 6.9 4x4 auto years ago and fell in love. Swapped in a ZF5, LuK, small lift etc etc. the only thing lacking was a back seat to fit the whole fam damily in the truck for camping and errands. Next weekend I will inherit an '84 XCLB with no eng/trans to swap the thousands of dollars worth of parts into. I know my eng/trans will fit flawlessly but I CAN'T FIND AN 83-86 CLUTCH PEDAL ASS'Y ANYWHERE!! I have to have this swap done in a weekend, so I need to know if the '87 ASS'Y is long enough/can work with dash mods and/or steering column swap!!! Did the '84s have hydro clutches? If the truck has a flanged output np208 tcase will it bolt to my ZF?? Thanks in advance!! My biggest concern is getting my current pedal ASS'Y to work in the '84 even if I have to mod the under-dash support. Or if someone in the Sacramento CA region has one for sale....
