In Need of Help!

I recently removed my EGR valve for a cleaning last week, and inspected the inside of the manifold with a flash light. I noticed a small (less than a dime size) diameter of what appeared to be a sludge or oily matter. The rest of the manifold was bone dry and had soot through out it. I then did a little research and read that it can be "coking deposits" or otherwise unburnt fuel that builds up. Also, the oil sludge matter is virtually scentless.. maybe a hint of diesel smell. I recently also removed coolant from the bottle, as it was still over filled. I did this while it was cold.. and brought the level down to right above the MIN mark. I was running down the interstate, hot dogging a little bit and it still puked a little out of the lid, it was also at night with a temp of around 70degs. But today, (running late for work) i was pretty rough on her and non stop in the throttle and out of it...and no puking at all. And the outside temp was near 85 degs. I know i need to do an EGR delete and Oil cooler replacement as i plan on soon, but its just not in the budget. I want to check my deltas between EOT and ECT but again, dont have a scangauge or Insight to do so. What should i do? I also just switched from 15w40 to Rotella T6 5w40. It has seemed to help a bit with starting in morning. Thanks!
