History: I'm in northern VA working. I'm from Texas. I pulled my rv up here with me. I've been here 6 months. I was hit from behind and almost totaled the truck. I had it fixed with new takeoff bed new 2013 tail gate. New lights. 100% new. No frame damage. It was fixed better than new.
Now the prob. I had a noise coming from the rear end. Took into the dealer under my insurance . They told me everything is fine and sent on my way. A week later it was getting more noticeable every day. I also noticed the trans shifting funny and popping into gear. Clunking going into drive and park. They took my truck in and replaced the rear under insurance. It had 3 broken teeth and metal all in it. They told me the transaction will need to re learn because the rear end was bed so it was throwing it off. ( BS). Also on my arrival to pick up my truck I noticed they stole my rigid led light bar and fog lights. so I drove it for a week. Rear end was fixed but the trans is still acting the same. I took it back in they said they will take it apart and take a look. Only when they find that the wreck caused the problems they will fix it. If not I'm on the hook for the repairs.
A month has gone by and my lights are replaced by insurance and the trans has started to slip in 4 and 5 and also reverse. Acts like in low on fluid. Checked the fluid and it's nice and red. Full . So now I'm need to get it fixed. I will be leaving here pulling my trailer home in less than a month. Do I buy one and have a place R&R it for me. Or go threw the insurance. How can they prove the wreck did or didn't do it? Seems like a set up to me.
