Heres the story
I bought a wrecked 95 F250 7.3 5 Speed from an auction.
I swapped the motor and trans into my 96 CC F250 that had a 460.
The only thing i have done is the downpipe, straight exhaust, and 4467? air cleaner
Me having only driven in my dads 100% stock 1999 7.3 auto and my friends 96 7.3 auto with the exact same mods as me.
This thing is way faster than my friend's and a good bit over my dads SD just from seat of pants feel.
Heres my question, is there anyway to tell that it has a programmer tune in it? Like a superchips done through the ODB2 port.
I have checked the ecu, theres no chip that has ever been put on it as the contacts on it have not been touched.
Do the manual trans trucks have a hotter tune in them from the factory?
