my 7.3 still wont go into od. no codes being pull. so after messing with it on the highway I could get it to shift into od but that's onlyn after playing with the od button by turning it on and off, usally after the 4th time of pushing the od swith it will go in to od, but the od light flashes on and off, it then pulls a code of p0783 but the truck shift fine while the light is going off. once I turn the truck off the od blinking stops and no od again. done this sevel time with the same results... also tried cleaing the code a few times with the same results.is it a electrical problem or tranny internal problem.
oh! one more thing while on the highway and switching the od switch on and off you can hear and see(rpm's) the tranny going into 3rd. but turn the od on and the tranny acts like it want to go into od by dropping rpm's for half a second and then returning in to 3rd and staying there until I do the od switch on and off trick to get it to od permatnly on, with the od light blinking
