Alright, back again with a problem i cant figure out. First off i think its my alternator going bad.
After my trucks been driven to operating temp and 15 mins after my battrry light comes on and FACTORY gauge drops from R to the low side of N and stays there's
First off if these voltmeters are as bad as the mustangs i know not to trust em.
I tested my batteries at work on our machine. Both fine. Wouldnt test alternator, idk why. Now i used a voltmeter and both batteries hold at 12.62 and alternator is putting out 14.2-14.6 volts. This is w the battery light on. also let batteries sit all day while i slept for work and my dad swung buy and tested them for me w my multimeter and showed 11.2 is lowest they get. Truck cranks fine
Any ideas? Like i said before i think the alternators gettin hot and showin its signs of wearin out.
