After searching for a 05 6.0 excursion to replace my 2WD supercharged 5.4 excursion I ended up finding a 6300 mile 2006 F-350 King Ranch.
My last 06 F-350 (no engine mods) I drove to 100k and sold it. Had some of the usual issues with it but they were all covered by the warranty.
The new truck has had nothing done to it other than 2 new batteries this week.
I had a pretty good game plan in mind when I was searching for excursions with much higher miles but am now wondering if the plan should remain the same.
The shop I want to have do the bullet proofing is 4.5 hours away so I want to get everything done all at once.
It will be my daily driver and used for longer road trips and light to medium pulling.
This is what I had planned for the excursion, I am open to suggestions and I obviously don't want to replace stuff that shouldn't need to be replaced on a 6300 mile unit.
