Hi everyone, first time poster but I have been browsing the forums and silently picking everyone's brain for a couple months now.
Just bought my first diesel, which is silly because I am a commercial diesel mechanic....haha.
Anyways, bought myself a 1987 F250 4X4 Reg Cab. I'm sure it goes without saying, but it is a 6.9IDI and so far still NA.
The truck itself needs help. I bought it for $400, and to date including that purchase price I'm into it for $1000 which has included a complete fuel return kit, a pair of batteries, new Motorcraft IAR alternator, brake lines, 8 injectors and a few other things. It's at this point, running. Not driving, but running. Still having fuel and major electrical problems. But the engine itself only has 210,000 KM on it and I'm sure it can be nursed back into great shape!:thumbsup:
